EnVision: Analytics and Decision Support for Eniteo

This is big! Enmark announced a new product today called EnVision (you can read the press release here). EnVision is an analytics and decision support tool specifically designed for use with our Eniteo ERP system for metal service centers.

Our customers have been telling us that they want better business intelligence built into Eniteo, and that it needs to be flexible and powerful, but easy to use. Our development team has been hard at work, and we believe that the resulting EnVision application strikes the perfect balance between deep functionality and usability. And with pre-built dashboards and reports, EnVision starts to provide value on day 1.

EnVision Reports

EnVision comes with a set of fully developed reports and users are able to develop their own reports from scratch using EnVision’s drag and drop report writer. Create table reports, line graphs, bar charts, or pie charts across key areas of your business.

Some of what you can do with EnVision:

• Analyze sales team efficiency over time
• View products that are approaching minimum stock level.
• Identify best and worst selling products.
• Spot trends in quote to order rates by salesperson.
• Review product quality issues by product and vendor.
• Analyze on-time delivery rates by vendor.
• Identify slow-moving products and excess inventory.

Users are able to format and design reports by:

• Filtering the data that is displayed
• Sorting the report
• Setting data ranges
• Showing a target (goal) line
• Displaying totals and data labels

EnVision dashboards

EnVision delivers pre-built dashboards that can be personalized, but also provides users with the ability to design their own dashboards. Dashboards are made up of individual reports that can be positioned and sized within the dashboard to meet your needs.

Dashboards can also be displayed in “TV mode,” which removes the menu and automatically refreshes data. This is a great way to share real-time data with your staff in the office or in the warehouse.

EnVision alerts and tasks

Automation rules can be set on data in any table report. Conditional rules can be set on any data field and can yield a variety of actions when true. For example, a rule can be set to alert a specific person when a line-item profit is less than 20%. EnVision rules can support multiple conditions.

EnVision rules support the following activities:

• Highlight – Highlights the data row in a specific color.
• Notify – Sends an email notification to an EnVision user.
• Exclude – Excludes the data row from the report.
• Create activity – Creates a task for a specific user in the EnVision Taskboard where users can view all of their open tasks.
