RAM Alloys on Growing with Eniteo

My name is Anthony Vlahos, one of the founders – my current title is co-CEO/CRO of Ram Alloys. Ram Alloys is a stocking service center in Houston, Texas. We started in 2014. We have since grown to almost 90 employees from two, and that was in large part due to Enmark and their flexibility that has allowed us to grow and really capitalize on technology, which is a big piece of our growth.

Choosing Eniteo

We interviewed all the canned software that was on the market. It was actually a little more difficult to find something that fit our niche, our needs, because we are kind of a different metal service center. And, I will say, Enmark at that time was the most responsive, was the most willing to show us their software. I mean, 2014 was a very busy time for the metals market and, honestly, if it wasn’t for BJ, we wouldn’t have selected Enmark. He was very responsive, demoed as much as we needed to, and really came up with a plan that serviced our needs at that time. And, luckily, the software backed up what BJ was selling.

So when we dove further and realized that, hey, this software addresses everything that we need to get started, plus it had the cloud capability, plus it had all functions in one – which was a big deal, right? It was a one-stop-shop that really allowed us to expedite and accelerate our launch.

We are up to 64 licenses from 2 in June of 2014. That’s always a fund experience, just to see the constant growth.

Implementing Eniteo

There are little things within Eniteo that we can use to address a business need – whether it be the non-GL section, whether it be the processes, locations – and Enmark has been really good about brainstorming. “Hey, what are y’all trying to accomplish. Okay, well have you tried this function?” And, so, that’s been really neat about growing with Eniteo so that we achieve business objectives, personnel objectives, and efficiencies and the like. So, it’s a very broad software. It services a whole bunch of needs. However, you can tailor it to your needs, and that’s been a very positive experience.
